Professional service
Terms of service
These terms govern the use of Stock Alchimie by professional merchants using Shopify.
1. Purpose and acceptance
Stock Alchimie is online software that supports sales forecasting and inventory planning. Installing or using the app, or selecting a plan, means that you accept these terms.
The service is intended exclusively for merchants acting for professional purposes. The person installing the app represents that they are authorized to bind the relevant store.
2. Service operation
The service synchronizes authorized Shopify data to generate forecasts, indicators, and replenishment recommendations. Available features and variant limits depend on the plan selected through Shopify.
The merchant remains responsible for the quality of Shopify data, settings, supplier lead times, and SKU rules.
3. Decision-support disclaimer
The merchant must review stock, open orders, supplier constraints, commercial events, and suggested quantities before purchasing. The merchant remains solely responsible for orders and business management decisions.
4. Plans, pricing, and payment
Plan prices, billing periods, and limits are displayed in Shopify before confirmation. Subscriptions and payments are managed through Shopify App Pricing and appear on the merchant's Shopify invoice.
Plan changes take effect according to the terms displayed by Shopify at confirmation. Applicable taxes are handled under Shopify's billing rules and applicable law.
5. Term, cancellation, and uninstall
The subscription runs and renews for the period accepted through Shopify. Merchants can manage their plan or uninstall the app from Shopify admin.
Uninstalling revokes the app's Shopify API access. Store data is then deleted in accordance with the privacy policy and Shopify's mandatory privacy mechanisms. Amounts already billed or due remain subject to Shopify's rules.
6. Merchant obligations
The merchant agrees to:
- use the service lawfully and comply with Shopify's rules;
- not circumvent plan limits or security mechanisms;
- not disrupt the service, seek unauthorized access, or introduce malicious code;
- keep planning settings reasonably up to date;
- protect access to Shopify admin.
7. Availability and maintenance
The publisher uses reasonable measures to maintain service availability and security. Interruptions can occur for maintenance, updates, incidents, provider failures, or events outside the publisher's control. Features may evolve to improve the service, security, or compliance.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not responsible for purchasing decisions made by the merchant, losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete data, or interruptions attributable to Shopify or another provider.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. For other direct damages, total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Intellectual property
The merchant retains rights in store data. The publisher retains all rights in the software, models, interface, and documentation. A subscription grants only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the subscription term.
10. Personal data
Data processing is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of the service information provided to merchants.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. The parties will first seek an amicable solution. If they cannot resolve the matter, the competent courts will be determined under applicable procedural rules.
12. Contact and changes
Contact: digitalalchimistes@gmail.com. These terms may change to reflect service or legal developments. Merchants will be informed of material changes through an appropriate channel.
